I’m running for re-election to the Montana State Senate serving Helena, East Helena, and the valley for freedom and choice. The freedom to make our own choices. I have my personal beliefs, and you have the freedom to have yours. I won’t impose mine on you—unlike some in today’s politics.

I’m an experienced legislator and Democrat who refuses to throw in the towel and surrender to regressive, right wing politics. My concern is for the last and the least. The super wealthy and big corporations have plenty of well-heeled people supporting them. I’m the voice of everyday Montanans struggling to make ends meet—tougher than ever.

I’m running to improve people’s lives, which in our country today means fighting for our democracy. Without it, work on all of the important issues of the day disappear — affordable health and mental health care, reproductive justice, childcare, housing, higher education, the climate, a thriving economy that pays workers decent wages and benefits so they too can thrive, our unions, and a fair tax system that benefits hardworking Montanans and not just the super-rich, the freedom to love who we love and be who we are without fear of discrimination, recrimination, and hate.
